Summary:
This job is Hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days virtual.
Established & growing industrial wholesale distributor located in Lodi, Bergen County seeks a self-driven individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to WOO (Win Over Others) for the Sales & Business Development position.

We will help you become an industry expert and we will have fun in the process! The core mission of the Business Development and Direct Sales Representative is to increase revenue from new and existing customers by tapping into our extensive database of prospective customers and project-based buyers.
You will be expected to make outbound calls and emails, developing relationships finding opportunities and generating Requests for Quote from Prospects and customers.
Customer contact is mainly via telephone and e-mail.
Requirements Strong written and verbal communication with keen listening skills required; ability to present information to customers in a concise manner with a clear speaking voice.
Strong Computer skills including proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
At least 2 years of direct business to business experience in a customer facing position in a like industry such as construction, industrials, manufacturing, automotive, distribution, preferably selling a product.
Ability to work independently and self-manage and record schedules and tasks.
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
Valid driver's license d reliable transportation at time of hire.
Responsibilities / Duties Generate a minimum of $1MM during the first 12 months in new revenue by tapping into our extensive database of prospective customers and project-based buyers to develop relationships and maximize new and upsell sales opportunities.
Meet and exceed the contact activities and sales targets and track activity and outcomes, providing regular reports, sales forecasts, and progress updates to management.
Develop and maintain relationships with key with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in target manufacturing companies, to generate new and repeat sales through outbound calls and other campaigns.
Determine customer needs and Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, new products sales and repeat business within specified prospects and customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions, propose value-added offerings to existing customers and ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients.
